A visit to an animal shelter

Yesterday we visited the shelter for homeless animals in Kędzierzyn Koźle at Gliwicka Street.

The aim of our visit was to support a local institution, learn about its functioning, but above all, to contribute to improving the lives of animals, at least for a moment!
Let’s start from the beginning. CB Poland and the planned activities were supported by our CB franchise point in Kędzierzyn Koźle (thank you for your commitment ❤️).
When going to the shelter, we bought food which we donated to the shelter, and there was Bubble Tea for the employees and volunteers to appreciate their hard, everyday work. We spent a few hours there, where, together with Mr. Jacek (the head of the institution, a man with a big heart), we got to know its structure, but most importantly, we got to know the wonderful, cheerful (despite the place) dogs.

During the time spent there, we had the opportunity to go for a walk with selected dogs, meet old people in their run, and try to tame puppies.
The shelter made a huge impression on us and we are not talking about the emotions that accompanied us, which are difficult to describe, but about cleanliness, taking care of the animals’ well-being and the involvement of the crew in their everyday lives.
Attached are some photos from yesterday. However, we avoid those that show that the animals’ home is a cage. Let’s focus on the good aspects and the joy of us and our pets from spending time together, and as a company we encourage such actions!
